Vikas Vishranti Charitable Trust is a registered non-profit organization based in Greater Noida, dedicated to a unique dual mission: uplifting underprivileged children and restoring dignity to senior citizens. We believe in a holistic approach to community welfare, where education, healthcare, and emotional security are accessible to all, regardless of their background. We are not just an NGO; we are a family that ensures no one—young or old—is left behind.
Our Journey
From a Roadside to a Sanctuary (2011)
It began with a single step of courage in 2011. Driven by a deep sense of purpose and witnessing the struggle of daily wage laborers, Mrs. Usha decided to act. She gathered 11 children of construction workers and vegetable vendors on a simple, dusty roadside and began to teach.
There were no walls, no desks, and no funds—only a burning passion to serve. What started as a humble open-air class, fueled by community support and unwavering dedication, has today blossomed into the foundation of our trust. That roadside gathering was the seed for Apna School and Apna Saathi, now serving hundreds of lives across Greater Noida.

Our Philosophy
The Intergenerational Bond
We believe the solution to modern societal problems—loneliness among the elderly and lack of guidance for the youth—lies in bringing these two generations together.
Our philosophy is built on the ‘Grandparent-Grandchild’ model. At Vikas Vishranti, we actively connect the seniors residing in our Apna Saathi (Apna Ghar) shelter with the children of Apna School. The elders find renewed purpose as mentors and storytellers, while the children receive the love, patience, and values that only a grandparent can give. This bridge of experience and energy heals both.
